UNIT MAINTENANCE
Section I. LUBRICATION INSTRUCTIONS
2-1 GENERAL
a.
Keep all lubricants in closed containers and store in a clear dry place away from external heat. Allow no dust,
dirt, or other foreign material to mix with the lubricants. Keep all lubrication equipment clean and ready to use.
b.
Keep all external parts not requiring lubrication clean of lubricants. Before lubricating the equipment, wipe all
lubrication points free of dirt and grease. Clean all lubrication points after lubricating, to prevent accumulation of foreign
matter.
c.
All periodic lubrication is carried out at Operator level. Table 2-1 contains the necessary information to lubricate
components after repair.

maintenance for this equipment. Refer to Maintenance Allocation Chart, Appendix B, for tool reference usage.
